Army Wives Season ThreePreviewing the New Season of Lifetime’s Hit Series
Simply put, season three is filled with drama, drama, and more drama.
When the previous season ended the Holdens were scheduled to transfer to Brussels where Col. Holden would be working with NATO. The Sherwoods were facing marital conflict, and the LeBlancs were trying to keep the bar running. Season ThreeThis season premiers on June 7 with the characters all facing more drama and crises. First of all, Emmalin Holden has run off to marry her army boyfriend, keeping her parents in limbo about what their future plans hold. Major Sherwood is in Iraq dealing with the war and the fact that his estranged wife cheated on him. With his son also in Iraq, their minds must be completely focused on their jobs, rather than the emotional upheaval of the marriage. Roxy LeBlanc is facing more trouble at the bar. She risks losing the place to the man who claims to be Betty’s nephew. Is blood thicker than water? Or tequila? Joan Burton must deal with the fact that she is in the Army and also a mother to a new born baby girl, while her husband Roland faces the challenges of being “Mr. Mom.” And Pamela Moran tries her hand at a new job. Army LifeThe regimens of the characters’ lives on the post make confronting their personal problems even that much more difficult. For Denise Sherwood, she has to face the fact that the entire post knows about her extra-marital affair. Gossip spreads like weeds on an Army post.
