Vanessa and Chuck are sleeping together. Brooke breaks Julian's heart again. Mouth and Skills take a road trip to mend their broken hearts.

Tonight on Gossip Girl Poppy Lifton returned and tried to help Serena revive her social status, starting with Jenny’s birthday party. On One Tree Hill Julian asked Brooke and Sam to move to California with him.

Gossip Girl, “Remains of the J”

Vanessa finally, after a week, received a call from Nate. When she went to meet him she saw Nate escorting Blair out of his building. Chuck pulled up shortly after and told Vanessa he sent the e-mail and Blair has been leaving Nate’s in the a.m. for a while.

Serena ran in to Poppy Lifton on the streets, and she invited her to Jenny’s sweet-16 party. Poppy was less than impressed with what is happening in Serena’s life.

Lily invited Rufus and the kids over for a big family breakfast, and Lily and Serena surprised Jenny with their birthday plans for her. Jenny was grateful, but she declined the party.

Rufus learned Dan’s financial aid was denied. Lily offered to help by asking Dan to sell the loft and move in.

Chuck confronted Blair about Nate. She denied the relationship but seemed upset when Chuck said Nate and Vanessa are still dating. Later, Blair asked Nate to break up with Vanessa and be with her.

Poppy convinced Serena to throw Jenny’s party. Jenny was shocked when she arrived at the party, and she got back at Serena for making it about her by sending an invitation through Gossip Girl. The party got very out of hand after that.

Nate and Vanessa broke up, but his lack of passion when he saw Blair made her question their relationship. Vanessa was angry because Nate didn’t say anything about Blair, so she and Chuck joined forces. When Nate and Blair and Chuck and Vanessa saw each other at the party Vanessa kissed Chuck.

Blair tried to seduce Nate, but he turned her down. Later, he explained he wants to take things slow, and the couple kissed.

Dan received a fan letter for his New Yorker article. The letter was from Rufus and Lily’s illegedly deceased son.

Vanessa and Chuck slept together.

One Tree Hill, “Letting Go”

Skills convinced Mouth to take a road trip, but Mouth got upset when he learned they were going to see Gigi. At a party at Gigi’s college Mouth kept picturing Gigi as Millie, so they left.

Julian invited Brooke and Sam to Malibu. Brooke wasn’t sure because she didn’t want to leave Peyton, but Peyton told her to go.

Sam and Jack and their entire class snuck in to Haley’s house after having problems with the principal as their new teacher. The students refused to leave, so Haley taught. The principal eventually showed up and threatened to suspend everyone.

Lucas and Nathan took Jamie to Keith’s workshop to teach him about his great uncle.

Julian told Sam about Malibu. She was upset about leaving Jack, but she really wanted to do it for Brooke. Before she started packing Jack kissed her.

Skills drove Mouth to see Millicent. He apologized to her, and the couple kissed.

Sam tried to convince Brooke to go with Julian, but she couldn’t. She went to the airport to break the news to him, and he was heartbroken.
