Burn Notice to return with season 2.5 on January 22 in spy espionage thriller starting Jeffrey Donovan as an operative who gets cut loose in Miami, Florida

Burn Notice, the action packed television series about a blacklisted spy who gets stuck in Miami, is returning to the airwaves on January 22, 2009; with all new episodes. The original USA series starts Jeffrey Donovan as burned spy Michael Westen; Gabrielle Anwar as ex-girlfriend Fiona; and Bruce Campbell as Sam. Sharon Gless stars as Madeline, Michael’s overbearing mother, who drives him crazy on a regular basis.

While Michael Weston searches for the people who are out to kill him, the experienced operative helps people who cannot go the police for help.While he is on a mission to help others, he is often dodging bullets of people who want him dead.

The ongoing mystery of Burn Notice is just why Michael Weston has been dumped by the agency, which left him out in the cold, without money and lacking resources. Weston puts together a rag-tag team that includes his ex-girlfriend, who is also an ex-IRA agent; and Sam a fellow operative who is also a friend.

Through all his troubles, Weston maintains a cool, sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek attitude as he keeps a level head and solves problems.
