Bree learned Orson didn't just fall. Gaby turned her garden club in to a margarita party with the help of Tom. Carlos saw Lynette in all her glory.

On the April 26, 2009 episode of Desperate Housewives Tom was feeling insecure, and Gaby worried his feelings were sending him on the path to an affair. Also, Bree decided divorce is the only answer for her and Orson.

Checking Up

Bree told Orson she has concerns about their future if he continues to steal. He told her he decided to “just be happy,” so he won’t be lying or stealing anymore.

The girls checked on Dave for the millionth time, but he still wouldn’t come to the door. Since no one could do it that evening, Katherine sent Mike. The door was unlocked, so he let himself in. Dave was in the kitchen, bathroom on, alcohol in hand. Mike tried to console him, but Dave fought back.

Tom was upset with Lynette after she took a shower in the bathroom in Carlos’ office.

Overthrows and Lies

Gaby joined a garden club with hopes of booze and gossip, but Edna, the woman in charge, was a "flower Nazi." Gaby and two of her garden club friends decided to over throw the dictator, but they were six against six, so Gaby recruited Tom to be their tie breaker.

Orson was nervous about Rose, the woman whose house he broke in to, remembering him, so he convinced the doctor to send her to a nursing home after discharge because she has no family.

Carlos went to pick Lynette up for a meeting, but Lynette was still in the shower. He heard a thump and ran up the stairs to check on her. She had dropped the soap and been knocked unconscious. When she came to, Lynette made Carlos promise not to say anything to anyone about the incident, especially the part where he saw her naked.

At Gaby’s version of garden club Gaby was surprised at how friendly Patty and Tom got. She warned Tom about Patty, and he said he would watch out.

Susan Gets Caught

Dave finally let someone in – Susan. Dave told Susan he was selling the house to put the money in a trust fund for Edie’s son. Susan found a packed bag and a gun while putting away the food she brought over, so she stole the gun, all the knives and Dave’s belts and ties before she left. On her way home Susan was pulled over for talking on her cell phone, and the cop noticed the gun and knives. She tried to explain it wasn’t hers, but she ended up on the ground anyways. Katherine saw her on the ground but just kept going.

Gaby caught Patty giving Tom a ride home and confronted him. He told her to butt out, and she forbade him from seeing her anymore. Later, the two couples had dinner and the conversation included Lynette’s fall and Tom’s new friend. Everything was very intense.

Bree ran in to Katherine at the hospital, and Katherine told her Rose’s story. Bree immediately recognized her husband as the “death” that Rose claimed broke in to her house. That night Bree told her son she wants to divorce Orson.

Katherine told Mike she wants to be with him forever, and Mike’s face went blank.

Susan returned Dave’s ties and belts. Susan tried to make Dave feel better by telling him the truth about her and Mike’s car accident. She explained that she was the one driving, she was the one who killed his family (she doesn’t know it was his family). Dave was shocked, and you could see the wheels turning for a new plan.
