William Banks is an extreme interventionist who uses unorthodox means to help addicts dry out and to get them into a recovery program. Benjamin Bratt portrays William Banks with dramatic intensity as he bears witness to the tragedy of addiction. The Cleaner is a dramatic show about an intensely complex and difficult subject. The Cleaner is loosely based on the experiences of Warren Boyd, Co-Executive Producer, who has spent the last 20 years of his life as a councilor to clients.
